Work Style
ThoughtBreak approach engagements with a unique level of expertise and professionalism. Our philosophy is to :
- Use small, focussed expert-lead teams minimising communication and management overheads.
A typical ThoughtBreak team will be four or five strong. For projects that require more resource, we will design a work breakdown structure that allows small teams to work on discrete tasks. - Minimise hand-offs, by employing experienced all-rounders who can work on all elements of your project lifecycle.
This avoids the need to transfer knowledge between Business Analysts, Architects, Analysts, Designers and Programmers.
Hand-off points are costly in terms of resources; have potential to introduce misunderstanding and can be frustrating for customers who find themselves having to explain their requirements over and over to new faces. - Look for opportunities for re-use - where we have solved a business problem in the past we will bring that learning to
bear.
For certain applications, we bring our consulting tool kit, a set of enterprise quality software libraries ready to customise and deploy that can help your project to hit the ground running.
